This £6 Leather Jacket Is My Most-Worn Thing Right Now

I'm not one to usually brag about my finds, but my latest discovery has been a game-changer – a real leather jacket for £6 from a charity shop in Didsbury. I know, I know, it sounds too good to be true, but trust me, it's the real deal. The jacket is made from beautiful, supple leather, with a gorgeous textured finish that looks like it's been worn in just the right amount.

When I found it, I knew I had to assess it carefully – smell, weight, lining, the works. The smell was that lovely, rich leather aroma, the weight was substantial without being overwhelming, and the lining was a beautiful silk. I knew I had found something special.

I've worn it three different ways so far – over a dress for a night out, with a band tee and jeans for a casual evening, and with a sweater and trousers for a more dressed-up look. The first two worked beautifully, but the third was a disaster. Let's just say I won't be pairing it with a bright yellow sweater anytime soon.

Luckily, my friend Mike was on hand to take some photos of me in my new favourite jacket, and I have to say, it looks amazing. He's a talented photographer, and he always knows how to bring out the best in my outfit. We spent the afternoon taking photos around Chorlton, and I'm so happy with how they turned out.

The best part? I feel like I've got a whole new wardrobe with this jacket. It adds an edge to even the most basic outfits and elevates my style in a way that's hard to explain. If you're on the hunt for a leather jacket, don't be discouraged if you can't find one straight away – keep looking, and eventually, you'll find the perfect one.
